Authors should kindly note that submission implies that the content has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere except as a brief abstract in the proceedings of a scientific meeting or symposium.
International Journal of Statistical Analysis covers the full scope of mathematics and statistics, including pure, applied, computational and interdisciplinary mathematics. As a fully open access journal, research is available globally, ensuring maximum visibility and impact. This section provides information on general submission requirements and formatting information.
Manuscripts submitted to International Journal of Statistical Analysis must be written in English. International Journal of Statistical Analysis does not impose word limits, instead articles must be written concisely and be an appropriate length for the content and type. Authors should consider their chosen article type carefully; the journal accepts the following types of contributions:
The comprehensive accounts of significant experimental or theoretical results. While there are no fixed imitations to the length of an article, authors are asked to write their manuscripts in a clear and concise manner and to include only data crucial to arriving at their final conclusions.
summarize the viewpoints of distinguished authors with regard to the current status, lessons learned, and future direction of the field. Perspectives may be submitted only by invitation.
provide a comprehensive summary of broadly-based topics of general interest to the fields. Reviews are not limited as to the number of words, tables, figures and references that may be included.
Research article similar to Articles, are papers on significant experimental or theoretical results, but limited to six pages, not including references. Appropriate fonts are 12pt Times New Roman or Calibri, or similar fonts.
The title page should contain:
- A short informative title that contains the major key words. The title should not contain abbreviations
ii. A short running title of less than 40 characters;
iii. The full names of the authors;
iv. The author’s institutional affiliations where the work was conducted, with a footnote for the author’s present address if different from where the work was conducted.
Affiliations:Author affiliation should be mentioned in order: Department, University/Institute, City, State, Country, to identify different affiliations use superscript numbers.
Corresponding Author: For further corresponding author has to provide their full name, affiliation, telephone number and email address.
The abstract should briefly (80-200words) present, in one paragraph, the problem and solution approach and state the major findings and conclusions. It should be self-explanatory and suitable for reproduction without rewriting. Footnotes or undefined abbreviations may not be used. If a reference must be cited, complete publication data must be given.
Please provide up to 10 keywords that reflect the content of your manuscript. In addition to facilitating indexing of articles, our keyword system assists in the assignment of qualified reviewers for your manuscript.
Text should include Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Acknowledgement (If any). Use numbering for references in the body text.
Results mentioned in the results section should not be repeated in the discussion section. Results should provide complete details of the experiment that should support the conclusion of the study. Tables and figures can be included in the results section.
Contributions from anyone who does not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed, with permission from the contributor, in an Acknowledgments section. Financial and material support should also be mentioned. Thanks to anonymous reviewers are not appropriate.
References and Notes
Published and accepted articles should be included in the reference list. References should be numbered consecutively in order in which they are first cited in the text part. Author can also cite the references in the tables and figures apart from text part. In in-text references, authors surname and year should be included if publications are cited in the text.
Tabulation of experimental results is encouraged when this leads to more effective presentation or to more economical use of space. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Provide a brief title with each table and a brief heading for each column. Clearly indicate the units of measure (preferably SI). Data should be rounded to the nearest significant figure.
Preferred formats are JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF and power point. This section includes Figures, their title and description. Figure legends should not be repeated in text.
Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
Author may wish to withdraw his/her manuscript after submitting it to International Journal of Statistical Analysis. To withdraw a manuscript, we do not charge any fee, only if he/she withdraws it within a week. If an author withdraws manuscript after a week, then he/she will be asked to pay partial processing fee. Each manuscript submission costs us (International Journal of Statistical Analysis) certain amount along with overhead cost during processing. Manuscripts peer review process is completed (which can often happen within a week), and it has been worked into a journal issue, we have incurred costs on our end that need to be reimbursed. We ask authors to pay 30% of the original article processing fee in case of withdrawal.
